Question for the Lake Charles Posters

According to this report LINK, the I-210 Bridge repair was supposed to kickoff in July 2016. When I drove through LC on Sep 10, I didn't see any indication the I-210 Bridge was closed.
When are the repairs scheduled to begin?

It was pushed back from July to sometime during the fall, then pushed back again till next year.
Hopefully they come up for a better plan for the traffic, because if they don't, it will be a nightmare.

I can only imagine when a truck brakes down on the main bridge every other day. They will have to refrain from inspections and painting at the least.

The project bids November 16th. It probably won't start until the 2nd quarter of 2017.

Only alternate plan is build another bridge from SLC to Sulphur and build a 4 lane highway that connects Moss Bluff, Westlake, Sulphur, and Carlyss. Traffic is going to suck, best to just accept it.

They will start it, but wont finish it. I used to work for DOTD here in LC, and they never finish anything they start, as far as big jobs.
