Yes, they are. They wanna blame this kid for LSU's shite season when you had players on the team thinking it was all about them and a shite coach that doesn't know how to coach. Simmons may have had some flaws, but he wasn't the blame. He should have just gone to a Duke or Kentucky.

Playing in the elevation of Utah and getting dehydrated will cause cramping. He'll be fine

There was 20 problems with the LSU basketball team, and Ben Simmons was 0 of them. How a guy can be the only player in college to average 19/11/4 (and extremely close to that being 19/12/5), and be blamed for his team's issues is beyond me.

No doubt, and the issues started at the top.
But Simmons would have done better in the eyes of many fans if he would have played hard on both ends of the court, and shown more energy and determination.
His stats were fine, but there were big lapses of production in a lot of big games.
Simmons was not the cause of our failing to make the tournament, but he certainly could have done more to help.
As for the other players, all except Hornsby and maybe victor really showed heart and drive. Too many of the others were me guys and it showed.

Nothing wrong with that, but it should never be a hard and fast rule.
A coach should coach to the situation and not some predetermined set of rules.
