Any recomendations on the Greek islands?

Planning a trip to Greece and would like to hit Athens and then a few of the islands. Right now looking at Santorini and maybe Crete, but also considering some of the smaller islands. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on how much time you have you can try to go to zakynthos. But takes a while to get there as it is in the Ionian sea. Mykonos if you like to party.

I visited Poros for 4 nights. Stayed at the Sirene Blue Resort Hotel. If I recall correctly, Poros was a couple hours ferry ride from Athens. I enjoyed my time on the island.
