Works for a news outlet in New Orleans. He's not a Tool fan but knows I am. Not extremely close, but don't think he'd just blow smoke. He never has and wouldn't have a reason to.

My first TOOL show was voodoofest 2001, I was on the front rail getting crushed (except for the brief moment where maynard asked the crowd to take 2 steps and 2 half-steps back)
I remember sitting at that rail all day (g-love and special sauce, tricky, Bush) and some fat chick Bush fan actually had the nerve to ask for my spot for Bush, i literally didn't move for 10 hours or so to get that spot, and the force was so significant that it left bruises.
During Pushit, I never felt so in touch with a live song. (Pushing me, shoving me,
