Strategy for NCAA tourney knockout pool

First time entering one of these and I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Thursday picks.
For the games on Thursday, you have to pick 2 winners, just outright winners, no spread involved. Once you pick a team, you can't use them again.
Lose and you're out
For the Thursday games I figure:
1. You want to pick teams that you think will win this round but lose the very next round.
2. In the Thursday games it makes sense to pick double digit seeds that you think have the best shot at winning so that the lower seeds are saved for later rounds.
With that as the strategy, I'm looking at:
Texas
Ohio State
E. Washington
SFA
Anyone in one of these pools? Which 2 teams would you go with on Thursday?
Appreciate it

I've never entered one of those pools, but my strategy would be totally different. I'd pick 3-6 seeds I felt good about early, but didn't think would go far. Or I would pick the 7-10 or 8-9 match ups I felt best about. Your odds of hitting on 2 double-digit seeds seem to be low.
I would pick for Thursday:
Georgetown
SMU

This makes sense if you think SMU and G'town will lose in the 2nd round.

Yip, I do think that and even if I still had them on board, I wouldn't feel confident enough to pick them in later rounds against better teams unless I literally had no other choice.

Haven't done this pool before but I'd say that you are going to be bad at this if you are picking 2 of those 4 to win
You should be picking like 4-7 seeds IMO

2 on Thurs and 2 on Fri
If you win both days, it's 1 on Sat and 1 on Sun

Is this throughout the entire tournament (I assume so, lol).

Then what after Sunday? So I guess 10 teams total? 2-2-1-1-1-1
The 8 2's and 1's and 2 3's should work. Lol.
