I love Vernon. I try to shut my door to listen at work, but that doesn't always work out.

I've been downloading Vernon's podcast everyday and listening to it the last few weeks.
Yesterday was a very good show. He had Mike Miller, Joeger, and Levian on yesterday.
Mike Miller joked how he may wear #2 for J-Will
The other big rumor right now is Mo Williams has been in Memphis the last couple of days.
Plus Levian flew out Monday night to meet with an unnamed free agent.
Calathes is in Memphis right now probably begging the front office to bring him back to America so he doesn't have to play another season in Russia.

I assume the "mystery FA" Verno alluded to is Oden. Only other candidate who would fit the bill is Jason Collins, and I doubt that's it.
Oden could add minutes to what is already the best frontcourt in the league. Mike Conley Sr. is his agent and Jr is his best friend.

Yeah the 2 names Vernon came up with yesterday were Oden and Lamar Odom as the possible mystery free agents
I doubt they'd want the media attention signing Collins would bring.
Who knows maybe Oden works out well and it gives us the possibility of moving him for some better pieces to fill in the rest of the lineup
They also discussed the possibility of the sign and trade you mentioned.
The Jazz seem to be in full tank mode right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if they actually went through with it.
The more I hear Joeger on the radio I like him. He seems like just a good dude and very likable. Vernon said when he walked into the forum yesterday he saw Joeger and Miller running up and down the court like they were just 2 buddies playing basketball.
He has the championship pedigree and won't shoehorn guys into only being able to play certain positions like Lionel did.
