Good for him, it's nice to see him be able to finish the twilight of his career where he was most loved by the fans.

Reminder to add rtramerica to super Grizz og team for next years "be a Grizz fan" thread.

Last years anchored thread. Lol silly roster.

Since this is now a Grizz thread, let's discuss offseason things.

Mike miller-great addition. Great great great on and off court.
Darrell Arthur-ok loss. Good, nice dude but was never 100% wish him the very best.
Kosta Koufas- super great addition. He fricking murdered us. Super hot girlfriend thats om twitter. We've got 2 former starters backing up zbo and Marc. Still miss Hamed.
Franklin- who knows. Can't shoot, but practicing with TA everyday could make him the new TA.
Janis- I've never seen anyone more excited about being drafted by the grizzlies. Dude nonstop talked about Memphis leading up to the draft on twitter. I hope he works out some day and he steals my girlfriend while walking into Aldo's for lunch or some shite.
Calathes- "if you have any ball handling skills we will take you because LOL WE ONCE USED OJ AS A BACKUP PG OUR SECOD BEST BALLHANDLER IS OUR CENTER GODDAMMIT frick STOP DOIMG STUPID shite TONY WROTEN. "
New guy today- I can't spell or pronounce your name, but I'm taller than you.

He was obviously healthy enough to start 4 games in the Finals and we won't need him to play significant minutes until we get to the playoffs.

I watched his 7 3's against OKC in game 5 of the finals

He was frustrating as shite at some points last year. I like it because it opens up more PT for Ed Davis & Luer

We really missed having a decent back up for Marc last year. Hell I think we could sometimes go very big and put Marc at the 4.

Never forget......

I'm disappointed we didn't get to see him at all in the summer league, but he has a perfect mentor for the next few years. I just hope TA doesn't try to help him at all with his shooting form.

I saw the comparison made between him and Vasquez. I approve of this deal if this is comparison is true.

I think we finally have some legit scoring depth coming off the bench now.

I think all of this is working to us dealing Tayshaun and moving QPon to the starting lineup.

Derek fisher is a great keep for the thunder.

He shoots an airball like no other and he will make up shite about his family to move to a better situation.

Its true that no team can really afford to lose their best player(s), but you remove Durant or Westbrook from that team for any extended period and that roster looks extremely mediocre.

If any team lost a player of Durant or Westbrooks caliber they would look mediocre. This includes Miami because the only player they have as good as those guys is LeBron.

Grizz getting better and better.

And since it's already been brought up, I'd still be pissed if I was a Thunder fan. They took an elite team that was a virtual lock for a championship at some point in the next 5 years and turned it into a wild card "everything has to go JUST fricking right for us to win" team. And they did all that for almost no reason at all. It just hurts me as a basketball fan.

A starting lineup of:

Mike 1
TA 2
Qpon 3
ZBo 4
Marc 5

Would be incredible and probably won't happen because its too perfect.

MM, JB, kosta, and Ed Davis and a hopefully calmer Wroten rotating in? Tayshaun can be a player coach that doesn't play and shoots weird jumpers with Leur when we're up by 50.

Lets wreck shite.

what's your opinion on not bringing hollins back?... that's probably the biggest offseason decision the team made.

I was going to avoid that topic.

I was/am a huge Lionel fan and apologist. I also understand that his personality and the way he handled his contract situation after the season was fricking stupid and childish. He cost himself the job. I like Joerger. I really like that he's a defensive coach first, and that he isn't as stubborn and ornery as Hollins. Hollins' refusal to play Ed Davis and not taking out Prince and playing Keyon Dooling in crunch situations was him just being stubborn because he wanted everyone to know that he wasn't going to accept any sort of roster suggestions.

I differ on this from a lot of people, but I think it was a move that was needed to be made. He frustrated me soo many damn times. The Grizzlies brought in Hollinger who is supposed to be the best in the business of analytics and Hollins thought all of that was a bunch of bs.

Joeger has been a winner at every level he has coached at so far, and the rumor was the front office was more afraid of losing him than they were of Hollins.

Just look at it right now. Lionel is sitting at home right now without a job, so the rest of the NBA may agree with the Grizzlies move.

Bump for official signing of MM yesterday.

Dude, NBA is so fricked.

Spurs- older, gayer
Grizz- dominated the offseason
Thunder- did nothing but get worse and okietiger sucks myriad dicks
Clippers- Blake Griffin LOL

I'm more excited about the NBA season than college football.
