Probably not. The article states we haven't mentioned position but that contradicts everything I've heard. What's coming from our side is that a big reason he's grown sour on us is that we offered him as a LB and he wants to play S. Texas is telling him what he wants to hear.

I think if you offer as a LB you won't get much traction and I'm not sure Miles would lie to him and say safety. He's usually pretty up front on those things.

It'll be really funny if we're able to really impress this kid on his visit. haha, poor Texas, they now can only recruit three-stars.

I do think Mack Brown is under the gun--this is the type of recruit he has been losing to A&M, Baylor and others over the past two to three years.

Just like LSU can't sign 'em all in LA, Mack Brown can't miss 'em all in TX.

Seems as if the odds are overwhelmingly in the Longhorns' favor.
