Thinking about changing my plans from Grand Isle to Cocodrie in hopes of missing out on some of the crowd down there.

If the forecast holds true, though, that may end for a while this weekend. Winds are supposed to be light out of the east and southeast, and that will greatly help with the water situation.

In addition, we're approaching the June full moon, which is on Sunday, and tidal ranges are really high. There should be another push of shrimp out of the marshes this weekend, and that will inspire some feeding frenzies.

in the middle of the moon phase, which isn't great for action. strong as that tide is, may dirty up the water. i'm still gonna give it a shot.

depends on where you are fishing at, in regard to adjacent rivers' mouths along the coast. for example, if fishing Port sulphur, SE wind will bring in dirty water rom the MIss.

but a SE wind would be good if you're fishing just east of the Atchy River, it keeps the dirty water away.

Quiet how did you do? Seemed a little breezy this morning, hopefully it calms down for tomorrow.
