anyone know the methodology 247 uses to convert a 4* on scout to a 90 rating. that is the major problem here. 90 is the lowest rating on 247 for a 4* player. rating could be from 90-97. how did 247 come up with a 90 or is this just a holding spot for the right now.
ps. 100 rating of 247 and 95 on 247 composite should mean 90 from scout.

They dont really have juco rankings out at scout so the 90 is likely a placeholder. Scout isn't descriptive beyond raw stars for JUCOs right now

I will say Williams is the best JUCO prospect since Cam Newton. Havent seen anyone that good in the 2011, 2012 or 2013 classes.

Agree. This class will be full of impact players, just like last year. If you look at our class last year, it's top 5 or so and includes 24 of the 27 rated 4 stars or higher on one of the 4 sites. This just means we have a ton of talent coming in to compete, regardless of actual ranking.

I too could careless were most of our guys are ranked because we have been killing it with guys under the radar every since Miles has been here. But it would be nice to get even more publicity out of it.

They compete with these recruits for 2+ years. They know who is elite, and who isn't.

Well I care just because. One more thing to flaunt at the media who keep thinking we are (spiraling downward). Some people might think I'm just talking about that Gall guy, but I saw it a few times even before he wrote that the other day. Nothing but bragging rights "but I want those F@&#King braggin' rights"

We have the most players in the NFL...LSU is only program that stands toe toe with Bama...so it's time our classes get ranked #1, not #7 or #8

After reading his quotes right after he committed, I am not sure he is a 1 and done. He loyalty to LSU is as strong as any other recruit I have seen. It might be wishful thinking...we will see

I have a really hard time caring where LSU is ranked within the top ............................ 5 ............................in May. VERY hard.
But then again, I never attended Texas A&M or Ole Miss either.
