Toledo bend not so nice to me this weekend

2nd time ever going there. Not used to the 20-30 foot sac-a-lait brush pile fishing. Caught about 20 over 2 days. Used to fishing 4-5 foot in the basin. Next Time will get get a guide to find them.

Why were you fishing that deep? This time of the year they are shallow. Find grass and throw a beetle spin or curly tail grub.

Locals lied to you. Troll outside grass lines right now and limit out in a couple hours. We been going after work for past couple weeks

Some guys I know that have camps on Toledo caught a little over 300 last weekend, but they weren't very big. We caught 9 Friday, but only white perch fished for about an hour. They came out of 15 foot of water on a brush pile FWIW

we made a trip last weekend for my second time there. did the whole brush pile gig with one guy who has a camp there and we caught as much as you guys over the weekend. It was sooo slow man.
