When was the last time there was this much optimism for baseball, basketball, and football at the same time?

Seems a lot longer than that. I guess shitty attitudes make time crawl.
This (off)season just seems to be more casually exciting than in recent years.

About a month ago at the Box, I actually told one of my buddies who is a regular on here that I think we are on the verge of the greatest 12 - 18 months in LSU sports history. The baseball team is in the middle of what could be a truly exceptional season, I believe that the football team could go all the way again, both the men's and women's basketball teams are on the rise, the softball team, the gymnastics team...the whole program seems to be peaking.

I'd hope it's plateauing... reaches the same heights without the nasty downturn.

Ok, the band is still playing too much Earth, Wind and Fire and Jefferson Airplane. Aside from that, things are looking up!
