I'll be sending e-mail's with my opinion of those black and gold abominations to both Jones and Alleva. And, I'm sure many other LSU fans/Alums will be as well.

I like them but I would prefer the deep purple instead- really haven't seen any LSU apparel with this deep purple- need to check it out

I wish people would stop and think for a second about this small issue that some blow up after LSU uses an alternate jersey in any sport. Do you not think that the players like wearing a different jersey combo every once in a while? I mean they are 18-22 year old kids and whether some of you old farts want to see it, fashion tends to be a big deal in these kids lives from what they wear out to party or how they look with sweat bands etc... So what LSU wore black last night & so what if LSU football wears an all white uni. Im sure most of these kids love the fact that every once in a while they can go away from the 'traditional' purple/gold combo. Its not a disrespect to LSU whenever this happens.

The old school black, purple, and gold baseball unis looked good. IMO
