BATON ROUGE – LSU coach Les Miles wasted no time in trying to attract fired Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron to his program last December. On Dec. 10, 2012, the day Cameron was fired by Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh, Miles reached out to Cameron. "I texted him immediately," Miles said Friday after LSU introduced Cameron as its new offensive coordinator in a press conference. "I think it fell together exactly right. How it came together benefited us. I wanted to bring in somebody who could make us better."

I posted on this January 11th after the Chick-Fil-A Bowl that we would see a change in the offensive coaching staff based on things that Les said. Apparently, it was already in the works.

Asked if there might be any potential changes to his coaching staff, Miles said: “As you know, I’m not about to answer that question.”

The longer you listen to Les, the easier it is to read the tea leaves.

Just like with any coach. If they deflect a question, it's probably gonna happen.

Exactly. When he is for his staff, he says so. When they are finding other jobs, he deflects.

What, that the offense regressed because coaches knew that there would be changes already?

Still can't figure out why the offense was so bad that night. Never should have lost that game.

And there were geniuses on here that said Les would never make a change.

Probably the same geniuses that are now saying it doesn't matter that Miles hired a new OC.
