The Saints have another opportunity to get over .500 against another franchise this week (5-5-1)

One of the clearest indicators of this being the golden age is how this has turned around versus so many teams. Still on tap this year is reaching .500 vs. Carolina (17-18).

Look how far owning the dirty birds has changed...

Pre-2006 30-43 .411
Now 41-45 .477

Many of ya prolly dunno how terrible the Steelers were for decades. Someone look HERE and do the math- What was the Steelers record from 1933-1971? Wonder if that was a worse franchise history than the Saints before 2006? Imagine the head to head turnaround over the past 40 years. They're still under .500 vs 13 teams. LINK

Yup. For the first forty years of their existence, the Steelers pretty much were the Mecom-led Saints

It will take us 36 years to go over .500 against the Browns. Provided we don't lose to them in that time period. I will not be alive to see it.

0-8 to 1981 against Cleveland was a tough start.

Speaking of the Browns, here's some good trivia-

The Saints first three years of existence were before the NFL-AFL merger. They rotated each year between two divisions.

What were the names of the divisions?

What teams were in them? (the Browns were in the 1968 division, hence 2 losses)
