I am the worlds worst early leaver.

Took a week off one time, years ago, to hunt. Good area, NAD NOT SEEN A DEER in the first three days. Day 4, slep till 9, get in stand at 10, killed the second biggest buck I've ever killed at noon on the dot.

But, becuase I'm a dumbass, I've never tried it again.

I always hang around a little longer if I haven't seen anything all morning. In my mind sooner or later they gotta eat. The last nice buck I killed popped out at 11:30 on a day when I didn't see my first deer till 11. Most days I come up empty but it's a mental thing for me.

I usually try to sit at least until 11. Today I got out at 10:30
