right now I'd say that our offense is designed to get us into 3rd and short

With a QB who can't stay in the pocket and look past his primary receiver, all the coaches can do is hope to get to 3rd and short and run the ball.

Only he has a great OLine and incredible running backs, so he's not trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

It shouldn't be.

Or is it set up for 3 and out? LSU ran 57 plays vs NC 76, no wonder the defense was cramping up plus chasing recievers all over the field, UNC QB 28 for 46.

By the way LSU avg 59 plays per game......LSU ran 713 plays from scrimmage while the opponents ran 827 plays last year, at Wash, Miss State and La Tech, these teams ran 30 plus more plays, I think our defense needs some help from the offense and quit going 3 and out. Just my Opinion

As I watched Michigan the other day and reflected back to Rs Weat Virginia team, I thought of different teams and their style. I could not think of a style that fit Les. Maybe BMY or Choctaw could help out.
What are his fundamental beliefs on how a team should play the game at the college level?
