I know I know but I've been wanting some for quite some time. I used to love them as a child and I know they won't live up to the hype but I still want some.

Anyone see them still in the grocery store?

Do you mean the actual shrimp or the catsup/horse radish based dip?
If it's the former, don't do it. Boil your own. If it's the latter, sure go ahead.

Nope, when I was a kid there were these little single servings of Shrimp Cocktail in jars. I used to eat 4 or 5 a week. They were the smallest shrimp you've ever seen. I've been aching for one for a while now. I know they'll never live up to my memories but.............

I remember those. Weren't they in those jelly type little jars with the metal top that had to be pried open or did they screw off. Seems like the jars were sort of "parfait" in design. I never ate them, but I remember seeing them.
