Saints were going to grab him, but Reid got wind of it and jumped them in the draft.

One of the biggest mistakes of the Saints brass.

Mahomes is talented. I believe he would have been good wherever he went.

However, it's not a coincidence that with Reid, one of the greatest coaches in the NFL, future HOF guy, he blossomed into the best, or at the very least top 3 QB in the NFL.

If he were to get drafted to somewhere like Cleveland or the Jets, he'd probably be a top 10 QB struggling just to make the playoffs.
