Cox Login on Apple TV

I’m have been trying ti log into my Cox account on the Apple TV so I can use the HBO app, (and really the on demand features) , which I have a subscription through with Cox. However I have continuously getting a username or PW error. I have the correct information, but it won’t access. Has been saying this for months.
Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?

If I’m understanding correctly, you are trying to use your Cox username and password to log into the HBO max app? If so, you don’t do that. You look for the “login with provider” or something like that. You’ll then see a url you’ll need to go to on your phone or computer. That will then direct you to the cox sign in page.

Yea lol for where it says login with provider. You may need to log your name out of the app first then log back in.
Also in setting make sure your provider is set up as the one you use.
