Some people wanted to make him defensive coordinator

Raymond had been stale here for 5 years. It was way past time to move on.

The amount of people that thought he was the reason behind DBU is ridiculous. He never coached PP7 or TM7.

I think that might be an over generalization. He didn’t coach those generational talents but he did have players who weren’t as talented whom he coached well enough to be pros.

It matters, as a position coach, who the DC is and what they are trying to have the team execute. I personally don’t think we can make a judgment about Raymond based on what’s happening at Florida. He was a good coach under Aranda….just sayin.
