I had high expectations for this baseball team. Of course, they still have opportunity in front of them, but football can't afford these ups and downs.

I think I'm gonna temper my expectations for the football season.

I was firmly at 9-3, but now I'm leaning 8-4.

This football team is not going to compete with Bama and Georgia next year. 8-4 seems fairly realistic. 10-2 would be outstanding.

That was your first mistake as CJJ stated early on that his pitching line up was 'Jonny Wholestaff'as well as SS not being won by any one player. That alone should have been alarming!!!

I totally agree. I just wonder how much the added discipline and solid game planning will help this team.

It’s year 1 of a full rebuild, I guarantee there will be some moments and games.

The only thing anyone should expect from football this year is to be better than the last two seasons. 8-5ish after the bowl game.

So the football team losses an additional game this season because the baseball team wasn’t good?

So- let me make sure I understand. You are lowering your expectations for the football team because the baseball team didn’t end up in the top 3 of the SEC?

You're an idiot. I, in no way, affect the outcome of football games. I'm lowering my expectations. There's a difference.

There are a lot of people sleeping on the football team. This team has the ability to very well go 10-2 (if not better). Their success being contingent upon how well the offensive Line and secondary play. Both groups look to be filled with a significant number of new/transfer players. I don't believe that there will be any real quarterback controversy/issue this season (outside of what the group of people who want one will cause). Most other positions look to be good (with a couple of groups being a little more thin on the depth chart).

You know the two teams' performances have nothing to do with each other, right?

I had to re-read my post to make sure I hadn’t miswritten my thoughts. Nope. I wrote exactly what you said here. You are lowering your expectations of the football team. I never said you had any impact on the outcomes. Tell me exactly how that makes ME the idiot here?

It shouldnt have taken the baseball team underperforming for you to reach this point.

An entire new coaching staff takes over the after the worst season in 20+ years. There should be zero expectations at this point.

Yall always do this to yourselves

The football team plays football.
The baseball team plays baseball.
Therefore, the two teams are not like each other.
Your hope has been fulfilled.

I copied this from "Sports Logic for Dummies" guide book.
