Apple attempted to kinda clean this up but it’s literally the reason many apps exist. Now they simple handle the data collecting process outside of sdks.

Said a time before..go pull the privacy statement (inside app) of IBM owned weather app and see who all they share the data with.

Data is more valuable than most of the apps.

People think Facebook is a social media company. They are a data collection company. They sell data to the highest bidder and they track everything. Even if you don't have a Facebook account.

If you have Firefox, install the Facebook container add-on. See how often it blocks data going to Facebook.

Saw something recently about this that sums it up well: if you don’t have to pay for a service, that means that YOU are the product

I’m glad to be off FB as of about four years ago. Just anon accounts here and twitter, just mostly to bypass the MSM and really understand what’s going on in the world
