There showing the Death Valley desert just after a rain storm and all the plants are blooming purple and gold.

is the coolest thing EVER on the blu ray british version. Weaver is ok, but the british guy rocks. I could watch these things over and over again for days getting high.

That's the great David Attenborough, brother of Richard ( directed Gandhi & played John Hammond in Jurassic Park). Sir David retired earlier this year, unfortunately. He has done so many great nature films over the years: Blue Planet, The Life of Mammals, Life of Birds, etc. I hope we get Blu-ray versions of the back catalog at some point. And yeah, I have nothing against the job Sigourney Weaver did, but Attenborough was born for this stuff.
