Was anybody else as impressed as I was with this guy? He made some pretty good open field tackles and overall looked like the Jai Eugene he was recruited for. I met him once at Rufinos with a bunch of other players and they were class acts.

In watching the replay on my DVR I tried to key in on the secondary. I have to admit, I don't recall throwing anything at my TV because of Eugene. There are, however, several knicks on my TV because of the secondary.

Jai Eugene is a first rate kid and continues to improve as a football player. Its nice when good kids do well.

I think he has been solid so far. We'll see how he handles Florida, Georgia and Ala.

He's been the biggest pleasant surprise on the D side so far this year...I'm impressed!

From where I was sitting, it looked like he took up the role of leader in the secondary.
