I concur. And if it were all about injury management why even compete at all and risk injury at this meet. If she did floor all season she could’ve done vault as well. Yes she is competing internationally, but even the commentary at this meet saying her goals are to compete in the states for LSU. And she’s doing the allaround and just watched the ceremony of her winning vault. Coaching coaching coaching. With the so called depth we had Aleah could’ve definitely been pulled from floor to compete vault especially when Alyona was out. The math ain’t mathin

I’m thinking it’s more about letting them adjust to school, doing gym, and actually allowing these girls to have a life and have a fun college experience. A lot of these girls’ lives have been nothing but gym for years, and I for one want them to have a great college experience.

eta: everyone keeps talking about bars and beam being our weaknesses but the last 2 years those 2 events have been our strengths scoring wise except in post season and I think most of that has to do with lineup selections and depth.
