This headline says it all. They are setting it up as, "it really was an accident."
I use the terms CBS and News together very loosely.
CBS News: A man allowed the Wisconsin crash suspect into his home after the deadly incident. He says the suspect asked is "something going on downtown?"

If it was a white guy released on such a low bond who had that extensive a criminal record, plowed through a parade in inner city Detroit or Chicago killing several black people and injuring dozens.
ALL you would hear about it how this is yet another example of the unfairness of the justice system and how it benefits white people to keep them out of jail and on the streets
