Except, in this case, the morons acted on mere suspicion that Arbery committed a crime against someone else’s property.

It takes a village....(wait)...where'd I pick that up? Hindsight. They should've let Arbery go. But what is done....is done. Having said that, crime will continue to explode. Police will continue to struggle to respond. Response times will get longer and longer. Pressure will grow to expand police presence, resulting in the expansion of the Police State.

My concern? As long as the local jurisdictions (cities, states) have control over their police I'm okay. But when I hear talk of federal control of local police, then I'm scared. You should be too. And IMO the federalization of local police is made easier by growth in police.

It's called attempting to respond during the collapse of a culture. A collapse that was brought on by widespread abandonment of traditional moral values. Or in other words, the diabolical effects of moral relativism. You can't legislate morality, and you can't hire enough police to prevent people from brutally murdering people watching a Christmas parade. It must come from the heart.

Change the human heart for good, and you have a chance to prevent violence. We're not doing a very good job of that right now.

A good start. Make a statement in favor of good and the sanctity of human life. Stop killing innocent babies in the womb.

If someone tries to take your weapon and you shoot them, you go to jail for life.

Thats what I got out of this whole thing.
