When I lived in California and Washington state (late 90’s/ early 00’s), my car got hit twice and both times the drivers drove away. I got the license plate numbers in both instances and called the cops.

In both cases, in two different states, the cops told me the driver that drove away did nothing wrong because the drivers “didn’t think there was any damage” (there was damage; the claims were bullshite). In CA and WA, I guess it’s legal to do hit and runs as long as the hitting and running driver claims they didn’t think there was any damage. If I had to guess, I’d guess that the hitting drivers in my cases were uninsured illegals that the cops didn’t want to have the hassle of dealing with.

What is the law on this in FL? If he wasn’t injured in any way and didn’t even come off his bike, was she legally obligated to stop for angry bikers? Confronting them with a gun outside was dumb as shite, and she shouldn’t have done that. I was always taught to drive to a police station if I was being followed. My husband is a good sized dude and he drove to a police station once when being followed by an angry driver he accidentally cut off that was flashing his 9mil, so this advise isn’t just for women.
