Bo Campbell passed away

I believe he served on both the BoS and TAF. He was a very successful businessman and banker after his playing days, and donated a lot of his money and time back to LSU throughout his life.

Bo Campbell was a great guy and was generous to his community and to LSU.

Bo became a very wealthy man.
But you would never know it by the entirely unpretentious manner he dealt with people. I never saw him when he was unkind or unapproachable, and he was usually smiling.
Once, after he had a series of land acquisitions (mostly for hunting and timber), he learned that the land was newly discovered to possess huge mineral reserves. When I started to chide him about it, he said over and over, "pure luck, man. I was just lucky."
Bo was a lucky man nearly his whole life, but the way he lived had a lot to do with his "pure luck".
RIP, Bo.

Was a good man, his father was too. RIP

Yep, you are right on all accounts. He was a banker and apparently very successful and very generous to LSU.
