No, not too early. Mullen was on really thin ice after South Carolina. He doesn't fire an historically bad DC for 3 years and all of a sudden fires him and the o-line coach? He was voluntold to fire them. Then they let Samford bend them over at home and then dances around like he won the super bowl in the locker and then after all that, puts on a fricking greatest hits show of all his coaching stupidity against Missouri? He's lucky he was fired today and not last night.
Put this in perspective: The last time Florida had a 4 game stretch of defense this bad was 1917.

Sometimes finding the sweet spot is more important than climbing the career ladder. A shite load of coordinators have made the same mistake.
