Tons of great restaurants in the Jackson metro. Unfortunately Sunday night limits your choices significantly

Babalu
Saltine

Aplos
They’re all good—just depends what you want. For something nicer with good steaks/wine I’d lean Char. Babalu and Saltine are going to be more fun but more casual. If you go to Babalu their burger is secretly the best in town. Saltine has raw oysters and a nice beer selection. Aplos is more of a counter service but I love their food.

The quality of restaurants in the Jackson metro area is pretty amazing given how shitty the city is.
I'm going home next week for Thanksgiving and can't wait to hit up some of my old favorites.
