See i was with you except for this statement redfish...at 16 I was paying for a car, paying for gas, paying for insurance, and paying for my phone. I didn't really get any help from my parents. They couldn't really help either though. This is while playing football and working very little, so the struggles of paying the bills in high school is a pretty big learning curve I believe

thats really good and all, but how many hours did you work per week? i can't figure out how someone could pay for all of that in high school while playing sports.
edit: in high school i only paid gas and cell phone.
its not like i was paying electricity and cable and insurance like i am now
