My personal would be: Hank Sr., Lefty Frizzell, Marty Robbins and Dwight Yoakam

If I was trying to pick the four biggest stars of country music history that cut across all generations...

George Jones
Garth Brooks
George Strait

This is a great topic and as difficult as coming up with one in any major sport.

It starts and ends with Hank Sr. If he's not on the list, throw out the list. I think you have to have a lady and I'd say Loretta Lynn.

The other two spots are just impossible. Wills, Cash, Waylon, Willie, Jones, Merle, Strait, Brooks.

Purely subjective but I'd take Waylon and Strait.
