it's peetz at this point, not the qb

Amazing analysis of a true freshman who hasn’t started a game yet.

Nuss is a freshman playing like a freshman behind a mediocre OL and poor OC. We really don’t know what we have in him yet.

I guess you never watched JR as a freshman.

He gets half the practice snaps prior to one game, no running game, mediocre O Line vs one of the craftiest DCs in the NCAA and he is already a bust.

I like how some say Nuss ain't the answer after him having one real game of experience. Man, Johnson has shown in many games he's not the answer. Nuss has a stronger arm, better pocket awareness, throws on the run better, and much faster decision maker....all improvements over Johnson. So they are at best/worst equal...let that sink in.

Had Nuss played more meaningful snaps, nobody knows how improved he'd be at this point. Experience can only be gained by real actual playing time. MJ is not a playmaker, eats too many sacks, and is extremely slow going through his progressions. His TD/Int ratio is good because he only throws if his first option is wide open. That's good for stats but won't win many games. Hence his stats look good but the teams record is shitty. With MJ, we'll never beat teams that has close to as much talent as us.
