Nah. the playoffs were.

Football is becoming like college basketball, one month is all people will care about in a few years.

This. Everyone including the OP will spend a fortune on going to games so long as their team is in the hunt. Once they start 2-3 and all hope is lost, they then say it’s about money and bitch. The reality is it’s about winning now and winning covers up all necessary evils.
