My mom had 1 done and had no issues.

My dad had one done about 10 years ago no issues.

Had the other done about 5 years ago, had a blood clot that caused a stroke the next day in the hospital. Had little to no use of one side of his body and wound up in a wheelchair. He passed away this year, but told me multiple times he wished he would have died when he had the stroke. I believe he was 65 when he had the surgery.
