Because honestly we shouldn't be number 1 yet. We'll just keep getting better and let Lee lead us.

I actually agree with the voters on that one.
1. OU (looked the best so far)
2. UGA (scare from USCe hurts them in voters minds)
3. UF (Inconsistent on offense.)
4. LSU (QB play a HUGE ? at this time.)
5. Mizzou (eh, they're Mizzou)

Doesn't matter. LSU controls its own destiny now. That's all that matters.
besides, I'm not sure that LSU is #1 right now. Gotta see more than one half of football from Jarrett lee to know that he can play that way on a consistent basis. I am encouraged, though

Seriously, do you think LSU is the best team in the country right now?
I would say OU should be number 1 based on their play so far. But in the event that UGA beats the tar out of BAMA, you have to seriously consider them being the best team in the country. But if they squeek it out, keep em at number 2.
