re: What is your favorite meal that your Grandmother cooked?

Grandparents had a an (about) 1 acre garden. They never bought a vegetable in my or my Pop’s life. Because of this (I think), I was never one of those kids who hated vegetables, except for snap beans and beans/peas, because us kids were forced to sit on the back porch and shuck, hill and snap.

Her black eyed peas and her drop biscuits (she made every morning) were probably my favorite.
