Hot sauce from the TCU front

Napier met with TCU yesterday. Contrary to what some have said things are moving in a positive direction on that front, and I expect him to be the next head coach. This doesn’t mean he chose TCU over LSU obviously, as I expect them to land jimbo. Rumors around here are that he is not the biggest fan of A&M admin, would rather coach at LSU with Woodward all else equal (maybe he’d have a chance to win a natty more often than every 80 years)

Napier has turned down better jobs than TCU. He will wait out for the LSU job until he has been told no. Sonny Dykes will be moving across town.

There is a void at the top. Power 5 conferences still have advantages even when they don’t have a deep pool of great teams (see ACC this year)
