Pfizer Advertisement: Kids will become superheroes if they get the Covid vaccine

Twitter
Talk about the most disgusting and most manipulative ad ever. Six year olds will watch this and demand their parents take them to it with no doctors approval. It’s so evil.

That’s not what the ad says.
They’re thanking the kids that participated in the trial.

Also hell of a subtitle at the end that I didn’t notice until I rewatched it:
But hey, the little Disney whimsical sound makes it all OK!

Don’t play stupid. We know what they mean by it. And the second half of the ad makes that very clear.

I think the vaccine for kids is unnecessary, but you’re trying to find something that isn’t there with this ad. The entire ad talks about the kids in the trial and thanks them for their contribution. If your 6 year old watches that and thinks the vaccine will make him a superhero, you’re doing something wrong.

Would your six year old self take this nuanced position or think that if you get the shot you may become Spider-Man?

You don’t know how kids think… or even adults. Ever seen “Thank You for Smoking?”

The hell with all “superheroes” labeling in this country. How about just becoming good, decent human beings?

You should worry bout yourself. Not someone else's kids. Twitter is evil.

If they get Spider-Man to come out and say that getting the vaccine will turn kids into Avengers, yeah, my son will be convinced.
A couple goofy kids with masks? My kids won’t even pay attention.
It’s a little embarrassing anyone would get worked up over this ad. If you don’t want your kid to get the vaccine, don’t give it to them. Pretty simple.

What if the vaccine isn’t safe for kids and they rushed it through. There’s no way in hell I’d give my kids under 18 the vaccine, and this is coming from a vaccinated person. I think this ad will likely directly lead to several complications that frick these kids up for life. That’s why I’m pissed.

Proud that my five year old was brave enough to enter this trial

I’m OK being Leon from The Professional protecting them from people that want to harm them for the cash.

And what if the data shows it is safe? And what complications from vaccine injury are for life? Be specific.

Brah, you are literally posting hysterically on a message board. You aren’t going to save anyone.

They have a sample size of 2,500 kids. For adults it shows complications arise from every 9,500 people. So not nearly a large enough sample size to determine it’s safeness.

Uh, that is about the size of a Phase 3 clinical trial. I suspect you’d say this regardless of the sample size. And you didn’t answer my question about lifelong complications.

But the sample size is smaller than the adult complications. Sorry, it seems children are more vulnerable to the complications of the vaccine than the virus. No way in hell I’d give my kid the vaccine with the data I’m seeing. It is estimated that between 10-20 kids under 18 have died of Covid without any preexisting health conditions. Not worth the gamble for anyone who thinks.

My kids will become orphans if someone gives them the vaccine.

I'm worried about your mental health. I wish you the best of luck.
