Definitely The Beatles for me.
Same
When we were in garage bands as teens we loved The Who and Zeppelin and the Stones but we all thought we were too cool for The Beatles. Didn't really know anything about them other than my parents liked them and they were the Disney of 60s rock and roll.
Ahead of a trip that involved a stop in Liverpool I read Vol. 1 of "All These Years" by Mark Lewinsohn. Told my wife about the stories, we started listening to more and more Beatles ahead it, did a bunch of Beatles stuff on the trip, got drunk at the Cavern Club, saw McCartney live, did first dance to "In My Life", etc. etc.
