Most blue states have had mask mandates for 18 months with a few weeks break in July-August 2021. Many blue states were locked down from March 2020 until spring 2021 when the vaccine was rolled out to the masses.

I'm far from a supporter of any of the things that have went on in this whole stupid fcking covid fiasco, but the overuse and misunderstanding of the phrase "locked down" just bothers me for some reason.
