Those are the classics.
I always placed Big Trouble and They Live in the campy fun category.
Lots of other very good projects in there, though.

I can't limit it to 3. I was watching Prince Of Darkness last night but The Thing, Big Trouble In Little China, They Live, Escape From New York, Halloween, The Fog, Christine (where you get the extra benefit of it being a Stephen King story) are all classics and so good.I even like Village Of The Damned and it's not even one of his better movies.
