Games are won in the trenches
The oline play has been terrible the past two seasons
Spread or no spread, you still have to be able to run the ball to control and manage the game, plus a running game sets up the things you can do in the passing game

The dline recruiting was neglected under Chavis and that more than anything is what cost Les Miles his job
O did a decent job fixing that but they have to get better at run containment and the 4-3 is an outdated defense to defend the type of offenses in college football
Aranda did a good job of slowing teams enough to be able to win in the fast paced college game
The 4-3 has been a joke and players have been lost the last two years and the tackling from the LB's to the secondary has been awful
