Help with losing local directv channels at my camp.

I have directv at my house and setup a dish at my camp with a box there. From what directv knows, all boxes are at my house. Late last year I lost local channels at my camp. I still have all other channels. Any ideas?

Check signal strength.. Dish likely moved.. Most locals are on different satellite than regular channels.

At the deer lease we would have to call support and ask them to resend the signal.

We would not have any channels. The guy that owned the box would call and ask for the signal to be resent, and 20 minutes later we had TV.

We had a similar problem with our tailgate box and dish and would have to do this at the beginning of the season to get it back to working.

Is resending the signal the same as me logging into my account online and refreshing my receivers?

Hahahaha. It was at least 15 years ago when we did it. We did not have phones to login to refresh receivers so it was a phone call.
It sounds like it would be similar.

its pretty easy now and all automated. just say NO LOCALS when it asks what they help you with and it will send a rehit to your reciever once you give them your account details.

If what the others said doesn't work check this.
go to signal strength and check the A, B, & C strength. There is a chance it the dish could of moved slightly and just doesn't pick up the satalite for the local channels.
I don't remember which one was local of the 3
