I didn't figure on all the love for the Tigers after beating Auburn. It's coming from every angle too, ESPN, NFLN, Jim Rome, and others. Maybe a little too much love if you ask me.

I'm a little concerned b/c even though I think we'll be in every game I fully expect, like most, that we will probably drop 1 or maybe 2 games along the way.

I'm just wondering if all these national geeks are going to fall off the bandwagon and run us down if we stumble along the way.

What do yall think about this?

We will not lose.

I think we have about a 25% chance of running the table, but I can dream.

Things will be quieter after we take care of MissSt, no respect there plus a bye week after means less talk about the Tigers

They will all hate us if we don't beat a team by more than 7. Even to the studs coming up soon.

Stop the underdog shite people. Real champs love being on top. We need to start acting like it.

Anyone get the feeling coach Miles has alot to do with this? He's a Big10 guy, the media types love the Big10 and he is having the ultimate success in the SEC. The last several seasons the media calls him names and questions his intelligence. Now they drool over the hire and the direction of the program. It can only mean positive things for LSU.

The media are a wolfpack, a den of angry lions, a feeding frenzy. the minute that the cameras are off of us, they will go back to slobbering on USC's knob. It's how they operate.

Nothing surprising about the love.

Conventional wisdom was LSU had the roster to pull 9 wins, but the QB situation wouldn't allow them to overcome the rugged defenses, esp on the road.

A QB steps up and torches a rugged D on the road, and now everyone's like "oh shite, here they come".

I agree with this sentiment - we have to start accepting greatness as part of our coach, team and the school culture.

It simply means that we should not start freaking out that we will fail because of the pressure of being #1. We should be able to handle being there all the time and not just at the end of the season.

Auburn was overranked. ULM hung tough with them until the 2nd half and they barely beat MSU who lost to LA. Tech.

MSU has beat teams that is shouldn't the last 2 years. I hope LSU isn't one of them. If LSU beats the shite out of MSU, I'll feel better.

How can the reigning National Champions have so many nervous sissies’ for a fan base?
