You better be on site when they pour the concrete.

Some places the slab wasn't even 1/2" thick.

Pull some strings and stand out there and check with a tape measure. Make sure you get what you pay for.

A buddy found out the hard way when his small tractor cracked his slab. Started poking around. Thin as shite. He estimated half the concrete he paid for wasn't there.

I had core samples done on my slab and in several spots it was barely 2 1/2" thick. Lee Mallett declared that to be within industry standards of a 4" slab. It also had honeycomb on the edges that was 1 1/2" thick and once again Lee Mallett declared that was ok, it could be patched.
