I'm coming to my third LSU game next month (I got to at least one SEC game a year with a few buddies), but I have yet to experience a night game. Does anyone know when the decision is made to have it on CBS at 3:30, or ESPN or ABC at 8:00?

I could be wrong but I think like a week before kick off cbs makes a decision.

I would think for CBS not to broadcast it, both teams would have to go into tailspins and we really don't want that.
It would be cool if Bobby Jindal could pass a Huey P Long type law stating that all LSU broadcasts must be at night, and no more day games. I realize that this could never happen and if it somehow did would most likely cause LSU to lose millions of dollars, but one can dream.

I hope so, the other two games I have been to in the last 10 years were day games, and both Tiger losses.

My buddies and I are making our first trip to an SEC game for the UGA @ LSU battle. We've been hoping for a night game for a year but if this is true then it appears it will be the CBS afternoon game:
