I'm not hating on Johnson, but we would have at least 1 more win if not for some missed opportunities, so now that the pressure is off of O, I would like to see Nussmeir get a quarter of play, he is our only chance to beat Bama, remember Manzail!

Max has actually played better than I thought he would. Especially with absolutely no running game until last week and Peetz struggling with getting plays in on time. But still, he’s not good enough to win a championship in today’s game unless you’ve got a dominant defense. Which are fewer and farther between now.

To me Max runs hot and cold. I don't think he can make all the throws necessary to make him a big time QB especially the long ball. Doesn't have that zip you see with other QB's that are successful. Even Matt for Ole Miss can zip the ball like it is expected by SEC QB's. Max looks like his arm hurts when he throws but that might be me.

He's a sophomore with less than 10 starts total. He will improve.

Max is at 20 TD and 4 INT’s with our mostly shaky (excluding UF game) OL and running game. Get out of here you clown.

I don’t know if it’s all coaching because a lot of the things he doesn’t do should’ve been learned before college, especially considering his family, but he hasn’t developed good habits at all. He lacks basic fundamental footwork, he stares at the rush, he has tunnel vision and he has zero pocket awareness. He’s a backup QB and plays that way.
